What to Wear for the Fourth of July Event

Dallas is full of family friendly activities to celebrate Independence Day!  We're sharing some of our favorites today along with suggestions of what to wear this Fourth of July weekend.

Saturday - Liberty by the Lake

Kick start the long weekend by heading out to The Colony for Liberty by the Lake.  Start the morning off with some fitness by joining in the 5K or the Fun Run. Then, get ready for lots of entertainment!  From Dallas Cirque to Christopher Lyle's Magic Show to the Decades Band - there is something for everyone.  End the day with a BMX stunt show, followed by a fantastic fireworks show.

Sunday - Addison Kaboom Town

Kaboom Town is one of the largest and longest running fireworks displays in Texas.  It has been around for more than three decades and has been named one of the best shows in the country.  The event starts at 4pm with performances from various bands and color guards.  At 7:15pm, the Addison Airport will put on a showstopping air show, followed by fireworks at 9:30pm.  This event is an absolute blast and a must for Dallas residents and visitors alike.

Monday - Fair Park Fourth

It will be easy to spend the entire day at Fair Park on July 4th.  Explore the Children's Aquarium and Texas Discovery Gardens in the morning, stop by the Food Trucks in Big Tex Circle in the afternoon, stop by the African American museum, catch a concert by Dallas Winds and end the evening with a fireworks show at the Cotton Bowl Stadium.
