Furry Friday - Happy & Vinnie
Happy is a 9 years old Shepherd mix. Please don't let his age be a concern - He is a healthy and active boy! He is also a very smart dog. He loves to go for walks, and has great leash manners. He would be a great hiking partner as he loves to explore the outdoors.
He does not play with toys or with other dogs. Happy likes to sleep in bed with his people and he always likes to stay close to them as much as possible. Happy is not happy if he is left alone for long, so he needs an adopter who is home most of the time.
Happy loves to go for rides, except when the destination is the vet office! He knows the route - we told you he was smart! He loves to eat, but he used to be overweight, so he needs to be fed proper portions of a quality dog food. He lives with a cat, but he doesn't do well with other dogs. He also doesn't live with children, so Happy will be happiest in a home with no other dogs & no small children. Happy will be a wonderful companion for the right adopter.
Age: 9 years
Weight: 90 lbs

Vinnie was found as a stray in Rockwall. He is just a puppy so he will need a home with the time and patience to teach him how to be the best doggie he can be. Vinnie is very friendly and loves other dogs and children. He is working on crate training and house training and is doing great so far!
He has been neutered, microchipped and has received his first boosters. His adoption fee also includes three sets of boosters first dose of HW prev, microchip registration, rabies and dewormer.

Weight: 32 lbs - estimated to be 60 lbs when full grown
