Furry Friday - Woodrow & Jinger
Woodrow and 18 other lab mixes were rescued from a hoarding situation in East Texas. Woodrow, who was emaciated at the time he was rescued, and three of his buddies found their way into the Legacy Humane Society foster program where they are awaiting their forever homes.
Despite the living conditions he came from, this sweet boy doesn't let that get him down. He is very gentle and easy going. He is now on high quality food and his foster mom is seeing huge improvements in his fur since he is no longer sleeping on a concrete floor from his prior living conditions. He is starting to look so healthy!
He is current on his vaccinations, heartworm negative, and he has been neutered and microchipped.
Age: 2-3 years old
Weight: 75 lbs at his ideal weight
Jinger entered the Legacy Humane Society's foster program when she was found at his previous owner's home tied to a tree with no water or food because her owners moved and no longer wanted to care for her.
She is adjusting well to her new foster home. She does great on the leash and with other dogs and kids (but we're not sure about cats!). Jinger is a bit shy at first but she is such a good girl and is becoming quite the little snuggle bug. Now all she needs is her new fur-ever home!
Jinger is a Terrier mix, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, heart worm negative, micro-chipped and crate trained.
Age: 3 years old
