Gratitude: A Life-Transforming Practice

Creating a daily gratitude practice helps relax the body, reduce stress and improve digestion. It can also help change your vibration, perception and experience of life and deepen relationships.

Giving thanks is easy when things are running smoothly; it’s when things become challenging that gratitude becomes harder to find. During challenging times, take a moment to observe your breath, and allow it to become deeper, slower, quieter and more regular. Repeat either of these two powerful gratitude mantras:

1. “I surrender to this moment and release all struggle.” 

2. “I choose gratitude in this moment and every situation.”

Just like with goals, it may help to write down your gratitude and share it with others.

We don’t often realize that we receive a great deal morethan we give. It is with gratitude that life becomes rich and full. Focus not on complaints and regrets. Give thanks for what you have and what the world has to offer, no matter the situation or phase of life you are in. It will make all the difference in your experience of life.
