Mindfulness Exercises (20–30 minutes)

The practice of moving the body through exercise can help integrate the mind, body, spirit and environment. When performed appropriately, physical exercise enhances the best qualities of each nature. Choose an exercise you love, and look forward to practicing it five or six days a week.

Infinity/Air balance and stretching movement options include light walking, biking, dance and yoga, which help increase agility, energy and coordination. Fire self-referral movement options include moderate and non-competitive activities such as brisk walking, jogging, hiking, biking, swimming, skiing and yoga, which help increase circulation and cardiovascular efficiency. Water/Earth endurance movement options include vigorous running, biking, swimming, aerobics, weight lifting and yoga, which help increase strength, stability and endurance.
