The most powerful tool for quieting the mind is the breath. It has the ability to both calm and revive you. Learning to focus on your breath allows you to become more aware of your total body and less susceptible to the effects of life’s stressful situations.
By observing the breath and allowing it to become deeper, slower, quieter and more regular, it can help you relax and become quiet.
Every 90 minutes, sit quietly, align your head, neck and spine and take six conscious breaths. Allow your mind to focus on the breath, and allow the breath to become deeper, slower, quieter and more regular. Continue to be mindful of your breath as you move throughout your day more peacefully.
